Torque seems to fall off alarming fast after 4000 rpm...looks like what Karl described too. Hopefully tuners will look into that!
Otherwise, nice numbers.

Not exactly a motor you rev, is it? Not much sense in spinning it past 5000. But all that torque down low will make it a monster around town.
Anyone have a stock curve anywhere?

it would be nice to see the dyno with the OE tune and then OE plus downpipes, or is that what im seeing with the 2 runs?
also my threads and vic55 threads have stockPP tune and OE tune respectively for comparisons

All we have is OE Tune and Downpipes. Found some time to go to the dyno yesterday so we got it done.

Yeah, tuners still seem to be having issues with all the torque limiters on the new transmission. That torque curve falls off much faster than my tune only 13 E63. Also keep in mind that the dynapack is a very friendly dyno since it attaches to the hubs with the heavy wheels removed.

isnt the motor and transmission essentially the same as in my car, a touch more boost in the S model to bump up the HP, why would the tunes differ from the prefacelift car

We are definitely not looking to start any battles. We would love all the tuners to build tunes for our hard parts and offer their customers more solutions for their cars. We are going to bring the car back to the dyno next week for some fine tuning and to develop a better tune for this combo from OE.
Our goal is to improve the results from all the tuners and further these platforms potential so that all the customers win and get what they want.

I went out to the drag strip in LA tonight with my friends car while I was visiting Cali and I think I saw this car there. It was 1/8 mile so don't bash me for the low time but it went 7 flat I believe. I think he was having some problems getting it into race start on the line a couple of times.
I cant wait to get home and have some downpipes installed on my car next week. I was hoping to have it on Saturday but the shop on Long island that I was hoping to have it done told me I was a pain in the *** to deal with and basically told me to F off, I couldn't believe it.

The engine and transmission are obviously identical to the MY 2012-2013 cars. Of course to justify to the public that there is an improvement, MB with tune it slightly and increase the boost. That's why the last MY of a specific car model is usually the best.

Now you will be tempted by the 4matic and a revised body shell along with a different tune and boost. I wonder what will be included in the last MY of this W212 E63? Maybe reaching 577hp/664lb-ft as found on the '14 S63 which has the same M157 and MCT.

im not a big fan of the new front...im pretty satisfied so far.... theres not much u can do with 577hp u cant with 550hp....even with the tuned cars....for every day driving im still faster than 99.9percent of cars on the road....
probably the next gen will be a 6 cylinder hybrid something or other ...i like v8s
