Yes, all the time for the first few shifts. I think its the tranny and not the engine. Been doing it for years to me. We had the worst winter in 20 years here. Below zero for months. Did it every day when driving out of the garage. Once a tad warm and a few shifts, it was gone.

Hesitation on initial accleration 2015 E63 AMG-S
It is quite noticeable and unless careful, it can cause an accident. It certainly needs to be fixed but no help from AMG factory or American distributorship. I called AMG in Germany and their engineers would not even talk to me about it. I guess they were too embarrassed to talk and sent me to work with the North American distribution. I will pay them a visit next time I am in Germany and have a face to face.
