I'm decided on which color combo to go with and I'm gonna go with obsidian blk and light brown designo interior and piano blk trim. I'm also gonna stay with the stock titanium colored wheels. I like the contrast with the matte silver trim. My problem is that I have yet to see the new 2014 E63 in obsidian, at least not in the sunlight. I know for sure I do not want the standard non metallic black.

Anyone here on the forum have one that could possibly post some pics?

I have C63 Black Series in obsidian, fantastic color and it easier to treat because of the flake vs the flat black colors.

There are a ton of 2014 E63's on carsdotcom. Likely to be quite a few in the blacks with decent dealer pics.

Thanks keyserS- no the 17's was more of an inside joke with member Pertplus. But I think there are some brilliant 18's for this car out there- 17's would be too small for the wide body appearance wise IMHO.

No, I havent ordered yet. I wont be till May'14 or so. I'm in my research stages and will be test driving one this Friday. I'm also looking at the Audi RS7, but am leaning more towards the E63. When are you expecting yours?

Please let me know about your test drive (if you do one) with the RS7... Im intrigued by this car and my friend owns 50% of a store and said he can get me a VIP allocation build for Feb 2014. I cant find a local store where I can test drive one.

I will. I was at Audi last saturday and the one they had posted online had sold and wasnt there when I got there. The biggest thing keeping me away from the RS7 is the fact that you get more for the money with the Benz. There is no full leather, alcantara headliner is not standard($3K option). I like the looks of it, but If I'm gonna go luxury and gonna spend over $100K, I need to feel like I'm getting my moneys worth.

So you have a while too. Keep us posted.

Be aware that designo adds 4-6 weeks to delivery. I was initially scheuled for jan 26th delivery and got pushed back to march 5th. Another car at my dealer was same delivery as mine and it didn't change (he ordered black interior - only difference in the builds).

Depends what you get... I have designo piano black trim and didn't have to wait. Maybe it changes when you do one of the leather options.

Still a little choked I couldn't get a red interior...
