Anything in particular that people here would recommend as part of a new purchase?

I'm not sure if prepaid service is available/worth it for this vehicle.

Extended warranty at time of purchase?

I'm coming from Audi, so i always ask to have them include "Audi Care" at the time of purchase in addition to all OEM season/winter mats and trunk liner.

If you are in calgary, good luck getting one. As far as I am aware, you can't order one for even march production. It is blocked off by mb Canada. There is a waiting list of 3-5 people at lonestar. I don't know about Hyatt.

I paid full price. Not a penny off.

Get the wheel/tire insurance, A Must! Cost around $1000-1200, good for three years. Pre-paid maintenance? I'm not sure if it's an option on AMG cars, I tried to get it, cost around $20 month addition on lease, but dealer told me it was not accepted when they sent paperwork to Mercedes.

what does the wheel/tire insurance cover? i'd only be interested if it covers rim rash from me brushing a curb or something.

Diamond white.

Car is getting some work done. Will have more picks at the end of the week.

I only drove it 3 days before dropping it off at the shop.

Just reading through some threads and I came across this one. Sorry to hijack the thread it but why would ordering a MB be "blocked off by MB Canada?"

Meaning the car is not orderable. MB Canada is not accepting orders for the car at all.

In Canada? Say it aint so. Car is supposed to be order only. Bet it is those corporate dealers in Toronto. haha

Obsidian Black/Grey. Wheel/Tire insurance covers all damage, repair or replace for three years, no deductible. I was told the forged wheels cost $2K to replace! IMO, well worth $1200.
