Several 2014 Wagon Questions

Thinking about ordering a 2014 wagon-Any issues with putting 18" snow tires (Blizzaks) on this vehicle? Also, can someone provide details on the "AMG exterior night styling"? Much Appreciated.

18s won't fit. Some 19s won't fit. There is a winter tire thread in here somewhere.

The night packages blacks out the chrome at the front, rockers and rear. The mirror caps are also black.

Exhaust surrounds are black as well, but the tips are still chrome. Barely visible.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Yes, it seems that 18" no longer fits due to that now huge brake ?guards that are locate anterior medial to the front brake disks. I wonder if the 18" will still fit the rears.

"anterior medial" means your a doctor (or a dentist). Surely either would be willing to cut ("trim") something?

Thanks for the info-We had the same issues back in 2010 in trying to find a suitable winter setup as Tire Rack had no options for wheels at that time. Might be a deal-breaker for me in getting a new wagon-Don't want to put an additional 6-7K in a winter OEM wheel setup.

It isn't that expensive. My winter wheel/tire setup was ~$2800 for wheels (TSW, tires: Michelin Alpin PA4s, TPMS, M&B and shipping).

Ebay is your friend for cheap takeoffs.

I'm into my set for $3500. Including an extra set of like-new summer tires, powdercoating and the spendy Pirelli Sotto 0's II.

I didn't bother with wheels, and instead just mounted winters on the OEM rims.

Plenty of routes possble... I went with the SLS replicas for 290$/Wheel shipped and Michelins PA4.
