Where you from? I ask this because if you live in one of the states that are seeing 0 degrees and park it outside it could cause that message to appear....if not take it to a stealership.

Okay I hope that is it. It just seems to come on sporadically. It has been very cold in NY naturally and even though the car is garaged still cold. I typically have it appear when I am driving not on start up.

Happened to me for the first time in late September and didn't reoccur for several weeks. Once it did, it was on permanently and resulted in a replaced compressor and accompanying electronics.

I drove 200miles on that message. I didnt drive the car for whole week and keep it in the garage and still had that message. Took it to the dealer and he said bc of cold the suspension raised itself too high and thats why the message was there. He said it is not a big deal so dont stress out.

funny. it's reasons like this that i just can't seem to understand or embrace Merc's continued insistence on air suspension. it's not a good system. period. these cars should have a good, adjustable coilover suspension and call it a day. jesus.

fwiw, my wagon has had the malfunction light as well on 2 occasions in extreme cold conditions.
