I was deciding between Renntech and Ams. It looks like a Renntech intermediate tune is a sandbagger. Xtyper, why didn't you choose the standard tune? Because CA 91 octane gas?

Yes, I was told that the Intermediate Tune was for those of us limited to 91 pump gas.

130 MPH, with a Tune = Amazing.
A better 60' and that's a 10 sec pass. How are you leaving off the line, a flat punch, or a little load?

Kinda supports the notion that the tuned '14s are about 2mph slower but .2-.3 quicker on the ET.

The track looked pretty poorly prepared, based on my familiarity with how C6 ZR1's and Z06s hook. That said, perhaps those C6s were riding on poor rubber. But either way, they got up to 130-132, suggesting a nice DA and some tail-wind.

Of course, I wasnt there, and there are hundreds of variables.
