2011 E63 - AMG performance package
How do I find out (by pics) if a E63 has it or not.
The car I am looking at is:
http://www.cars.com/go/search/detail...nal&listType=1
And IMO, this car doesnt have the AMG development package, I could be wrong though. THe dealer states hat it has $9000 AMG package.
Do you folks think that's a fair price?
I am looking to trade in my QuartZ blue C63 for this Quartz Blue E63.
And here's pic of my c63 for your troubles:

It has the P30 Performance package listed as an option.

I always thought the performance package came with red brake calipers and an alcantara steering wheel? I know when I was looking into a 2011 E63 a couple of years ago the two I saw had these options.

Visually, it should have the alcantara steering wheel and the 19" forged wheels and the ?LSD. I think the easiest is to take the vin# and have the dealership run it to see.

But it has pretty low miles, a very loaded car, new tires, and has a warranty until May 2017. What price do you think is fair?
Honestly, without the right steering wheel and red calipers, I would think P30 is pretty suspect on this E63.

2012 E63 Bi Turbo
As i pointed out the red calipers mean nothing and the Alcantara steering wheel (281) as someone calls it, is a separate option usually associated with the Driving Package (23P), nothing to do with PP as such. I can see no reason why the build sheet would be telling porkies about the P30 PP option.

Low miles
Loaded car
New tires
And warranty for 3.5 more years
All that attributes to the higher price, IMO. But I am fairly in-experienced when it comes to E63s. I know I want the M156 and not the Bi-turbo.
I don't reall care for the performance package, but thats a $9200 option and truth be told I like the Quartz blue color. I am still trying to figure out of I can get it for 65k - would thta be the right price or not?

- 19” AMG twin 5-spoke forged wheels
- Limited slip rear differential
- Adaptive AMG performance suspension system
- AMG leather/alcantara performance steering wheel
- Top speed: 186 mph
- Red Calipers (unless these are specifically changed per order as you say)

I don't know anything about pricing of this car, but a wholesale price is not really relevant unless a buyer has access to it. Based upon the OP's previous posts in this thread, he/she does not.

Just for reference I bought a 2010 in Chicago. It was a one corporate owner car. It had 12k on the odometer. The car was loaded with new tires. It did not have the performance package but did have the 19 inch rims, night vision, lighting and driver assist packages. I paid $53k. Add in the $3K I paid to extend the warranty to 2017 and $56k for a similar car one model year older. The car was purchased in June of last year.Hope this helps.

I have realized that he's asking too much money.
My only bit of problem is I LOVE the quartz blue and was hoping to replace my quartz blue C63 with a Quartz blue E63.

Which month in 2017 does your warranty run out? You can also PM me if you like. I'm interested in the info since it will help me decide which CPO year vehicle to trade mine in for.

[QUOTE=otakki;5967299]I know a vehicle with surprisingly similar spec in the Chicago area but it's 2011 and palladium silver.

I'm covered till March of 2017. Mine was not a CPO.

[QUOTE=LJMartin;5967726]Do you have factory or aftermarket extended warranty? Factory warranty only goes up to a max of 7 years. It will be great if you can get a total of -year factory warranty on non-CPO cars. So far, I have heard that is not possible.

Mine is the extended factory warranty, my in service date was 3\10. According to the person I bought my warranty from. If you buy the car from a franchised MB dealer and the car has not been CPO'd it is not eligible for the factory extended warranty. So if you buy the car from a private owner or other non MB dealership it is eligible. Hope this helps.
