How to turn off auto high beam assist.
Hi! Loving the new E63. Hating the auto high beam assist. I had managed to turn that feature off on my 2010 E63 but forgot how to accomplish that on this 2014 E63S.
Anyone know how to disable it? Thx.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
If it is still the same, then you can disable it by toggle through the screen menu inside the speedometer via the steering wheel's left side buttons.

I was told that the only way to shut it of on the 2014s is to move the selector to "on" instead of "auto", then the turn signal stock works like a traditional high-beam selector. I have not tried this on mine yet, so I don't know if it is true.

I guess that's another way to get it to work. It's definitely less hassle than going through the menus.
I would love a menu selection to turn off the light sensor so the headlights wouldn't come on in the garage, with this car being a battery hog.

Sadly, it's true. Should have been a way to defeat it. Honestly, I don't think LED light are anything special and if given the option on future cars, will save the money.
