AMG button

Greetings! On my 2014 E63 S, I notice that pressing the stability program button to sport handling is not savable on AMG button. I prefer full sport all the time, but that is the only function that won't save. Why is that?

Thought my prior 2010 E63 did allow it but my memory could be slightly off.

The AMG button does not save ESP settings in my 2010 as well.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
I think it's set up that way for liability reason.

Three settings: full on, full off, and Sport mode which maximizes torque vectoring.

Torque vectoring is actuated via the application of the brakes, not anything within the diffs or transfer case. So that means you're chewing through some expensive consumables.

But hey, it's your toy. Just stay safe.

Bottom line: AMG button is a macro from transmission and suspension setting only.
