2014 E63S Wagon Ordered!!!
Finally I pulled the trigger.
Since there are almost no changes in 2015 MY, I decided to take the 2014 one, it started to be built on 11th June and I am expecting to take delivery sometime in Aug.
Moving from E92 M3 and E70 X5, AMG is more than perfect to carry my wife and little son.
The car is Diamond White with Night Pkg, Premium Pkg and Driving Assistance pkg. Trim is Designo Piano Black. Almost exactly what I have been planning to order.
I am located in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Got $7000 off MSRP with 1.9% financing rate. Not sure if it is a competitive deal.
One question about break in period. I have seen lots of different opinions on break in period on AMG cars. For M3, it is required to do break in for the first 1000KM with no more than 5000RPM and 125KM/H. Not sure about the AMG, SA told me that the first service is 10K KM, I feel like he does not have a clue and I really take good care of all my cars, planning to drive mildly for the first 1500km and do oil change and LSD fluid when hitting 1500KM. Any suggestions on it? Thanks a lot.
Leave a mark here and will post detailed pics when car is delivered.

Congrats on the new buy (or lease?). I'm wondering how you managed to lock in the rates and rebates before the car is invoiced? I'm asking since I'm also in Canada, my car is on the boat right now and my dealer cant (or does not want to...)lock in the rates. Also, residual is going down 1% today (usually 1st of July). I guess if you buy it's different. I had time to think (been waiting a LONG time for the car) and I might end up buying the thing... depending on the numbers once car gets to dealer.

I thought the books were closed for 2014?? That's what the dealers on the central coast and LA have been telling me? Where did you order yours through?

I guess the OP jumped on a PO already allocated to the dealer for a 2014. Must be one of the last ones produced in 2014.
As for break in, follow the recommandations on the windshield sticker. LSD oil change I think is not listed but to do at 1500-2000 km.

I assume you couldn't change anything on the order since production is so close? You basically just "took" a build slot that a dealer already submitted for production right?

$7k off... yuck.... wish you got more off, but what's a couple thousand here and there at this pricepoint? Clearly you're not going to miss that cash since you're already in the ballgame buying a $100k wagon... cheers and may it keep you and your family safe and happy.
I just hit 1000 miles on the odo -- but I've cheated and gunned it from time to time .. oh well... also I have learned to let it warm up to 175 F before really getting on it.. thanks to this forum I know that now -- that's probably more important than waiting till 1000 miles to let it break in.
I wish there was a selection for break in mode -- a simple menu option to limit the revs for 1000 miles, it wouldn't stunt the performance of a car like this too much that it would be a safety or liability issue .. sh-t, the car has 600hp (based on car mag dyno's and estimate crank hp .. don't flame me)

I am financing the car, not leasing. Technically the 1.9% finacing rate is not locked, I will have to take whatever rate MB offers at the time when the car rrives at the dealer, but the SA said the chances of getting a higher financing rate than 1.9% in Aug is almost impossible. I guess lease is different.

Thanks for the info on break in. I talked to a guy called Mike at Instagram, who is an AMG engine builder at MB Germany, he said keep it under 4500rpm during break in and changing LSD after break in is recommended.

I will change engine oil and LSD after 1000 mile just on the safe side. I hate this as I know how it felt when I broke in my M3 4 years ago......

I have two car seats in my sedan for my 3 and 2 year old... Wondering when they'll kick in the vents for the ventilated seats
I love my 63 but I love my kids waaaay more... Kick away you little rug rats!! First thing I had to do was flip the child door locks and window locks... They love to operate anything mechanical

My kid kicks everything in the back.
LSD oil change is due at 3000km then at 60,000kms. Although, I don't remember the last time I owned a car that traveled that far. Doing it at 1000 miles will bring you nothing extra.
