Any Rebellion Piggyback Tune Users?

Now that I'm back in the saddle of a stock 2013 E63 (this time with Perf Package), I'm tempted to try out the Rebellion piggyback tune before I take the full plunge again with Renntech.

Anybody running this system and have results to share? I did a search and can't seem to find anything beyond the vendor post and limited info from one member running it in his SL63.

I have no info on the subject matter but, here is my 2 cents. Stick with what is proven and works. I know that you know what that is cant wait to see the new E put in work at the roll race events

Totally agree, which is why my ultimate plan is to go back to Renntech for the full tune. Just thought this might be interesting to try out as an intermediate step.

I'm surprised you got rid of your black 2013 with all the mods you did to that car. Low 11's is great. I'd just do to your new one what you did to that one. You would never be happy with just a piggyback tune after experiencing the full deal like you use to have.

I wish more big companies would come out with piggy backs for our cars or at least until handhelds become available. I've heard ams does not drill into the ecu, does that mean they flash the ecu through cables?

When I get my '15 E63 S, I'll def want to add some more hp, but as this will be my DD car also to be used in the cold Quebec winters, I would like some Tune that runs fine on 91 oct. Would the Renntech Intermediate be the only choice ?

Renntech Intermediate Tune worked wonders on my last 2013 E63. Performance wise, there didn't seem to be anything intermediate about it. Also ran great on 91 with no hiccups. Ultimately I plan on getting it again, and I highly recommend it.

I have thought about a Renntech tune on my new wagon also but don't want to potentially invalidate the warranty. Some folks say it may while others say it won't. I notice there are Mercedes dealers in Oregon who are also listed as dealers on the Renntech website. Guess I need to call the MB dealer and find out how that works.

Thanks Xtyper, there's a local shop that does the Renntech tunes, I heard the owner runs a 14 E63 S Wagon with their Tune and downpipes.
BTW, I saw all your videos where you would run down all those Hot cars, one after the other, that was some awsome performances !

Yeah if your going 130+ in traps , your for sure working with a real tune. I think renntech uses the worded intermediate for business sake. Who knows.
My 08 h/c 08 z06 was going 132-133 with less rwhp so your ride is/ was moving. I'm sure your new one will as well.

I'm surprised no big companies want to make a piggy back like BMW's have with BMS. Even just a minimal increase to match the pp numbers would be appealing.
