I want...
Not to be obtuse here (apologies in advance), but did you use Launch Control (RS)? I thought your earlier post a few weeks back had said you did not. The salesman who sold me my car told me about the MB tech who told them they could use it over and over w/o problems, but with the higher output from your upgrades, does the use of RS damage anything in the tranny? The video doesn't sound like your mashing the gas on RS starts like here...

Nice work, gents.

We cannot predict how it will affect long term reliability - too many variables in that equation. Our thoughts are the engine will be fine, but the trans might go through some wear items quicker. We do have upgrades in the works for those parts however. That said, the added torque would be the thing that causes the parts to wear faster, so with that concern we can always dial the tq down a bit on your custom tune to make you comfortable about the longevity of the car

Custom tune...I had dreams of that once.

Hmm your dynos from your website show BOTH NON-s models tested AFTER your TUNE only show quite a bit more difference in hp/tq output hardly SIMILAR after BOTH models are equally tuned both obviously adjusted by you guys to show Crank #'s (wish it was rear wheel results though) 13' rear wheel drive model tuned makes ONLY 630 HP 750 TQ vs 14' AWD model makes 700 HP 830 TQ IE RWD makes 70 less HP & 80 less TQ than AWD model after your tunes That's a HUGE difference
What am I missing here I realize the 13' model is ONLY showing 518 hp vs 14' model showing 598 hp but aren't both STOCK tunes using similar/same boost? What's going on in these virtually same stock engines to show such a huge difference in stock hp/tq output? Remember these are both NON-S models you've tested here per your website IE here's your S model graph below..

They are located in West Chicago, Illinois. They have dealers elsewhere. They have achieved amazing results in their tuning and work on GT-Rs including an 1800 horsepower model.

That's impressive. I will run 93 octane. Is your tune optimized for that or for race gas? I will never be running race gas.
I understand your warranty is 12 months. Is there an option to purchase a longer warranty for more money (I ask because the other tune I was looking at is $500 more but has a two year warranty). Does the warranty cover just the ECU or would it cover a situation where an engine blowing or transmission failure can be traced to the tune (that is, if MB so contends). That type of issue is always on my mind which I why I went Dinan with my BMW 550xi when I tuned it.

Honestly this is just a mistake on our part with the graph for a 2012/2013. We see anywhere from 580-630whp on 2012/2013's which is surely much higher than 630hp at the engine. There must have been a communication breakdown when creating that page. We will have the correct graph up shortly.
Our apologies for the mix-up and thank you for pointing that out.

We will warranty the ECU for 24 months . The warranty, like the other tune, would cover the ECU only.

Bravo on the answers. AMS is definitely making some friends here. Given that your website says the warranty is 12 months would you charge extra for the additional 12 months? Or would you put that on the receipt for the tune?

The website will be corrected shortly, this wouldn't be an additional charge.
