2015 E63 S Ordered
I took how my current 507 C63 drives and my friends e350, merged the two together and added some more power plus 4matic in my mind, and couldn't find a reason why this wouldn't be pure awesome.

You understand the concept of how AMG operates, yes? (AMG is in Affalterbach, Germany)
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Excited.
I would expect that the tune would reduce the life of the engine and drivetrain. But not by all that much as I will not be tracking this car and won't be doing much drag racing or airstrip runs (I might do a few but that's it). The main use of the power will be for better acceleration onto the highway or passing.
I will not be doing a turbo upgrade which unquestionably would shorten the engine/drivetrain lift a lot more than a tune and mufflers due to the greatly increased power. I am not doing the Renntech down pipe -- nearly $5000 for a downpipe with sport cats for a 10 bhp, 15 lbs-ft gain does not seem like a good value proposition (http://www.renntechmercedes.com/www/node/1310). The mod is mostly for noise and the muffler mod is much cheaper, increases the exhaust sound and has a greater power gain. Did not think it was worth the extra bucks.

Going to do Xpel clear bra (http://www.xpel.com/products/xpel_ul...ction_film.asp) on the entire front end (hood, bumper, fender), mirrors and rocker panels. And going to have Opticoat Pro (http://www.theultimatecarcare.com/opti-coat-pro/) put on the entire car (no more waxing)! Total cost of that is about $2500. Nothing looks better than an Opticoated car.

Have you considered Clearplex windshield film as well? It's like Xpel but for glass.

No better way to go than the ceramic coating, soon as my car arrives, going right to my buddy to do the entire car including windows and wheels. He removes all the paint impurities with two treatments (gets the railroad dust out) and then seals it. Did this on the current car and love it, never wax again and lasts forever.

It's sweeter to have the e63 than anticipate it's acquisition
