Here she is! Just wrapped up the shoot with MB's North East photographer, "Paid 2 Shoot" Johnny, amazing job. Shoot was done around 6AM-7:30AM, there's a lot more pictures, I will slowly add them as he edits them, enjoy!

Stunning! What wheels are those? The spoke design is fantastic -- looks like something ADV1 would make in their CS line.
Nice to see my incoming 2015 E63 S has some good company here in NYC.

SDG, I've had plenty of wheel brands on my car, I can honestly say HRE is one of the best out, great quality, and strength which is huge for us NY based guys, I've had plenty of friends who had horror stories with ADV1, figure that they wanted to setup a sponsorship for my car and I declined, mainly because of what happen to a few of my friends and them. I don't like playing games, or lies on the true quality of someones product. You made the best decision sticking with HRE. I love the tune, I got the full tune, truly woke up the car, all the work on the car has been done by Bergen Imports in Cliffside Park, NJ. Great work, and are true Merc/AMG specialists (as well as all the other German and Italian brands). Message me your information I can put in the word for you and hopefully get you a great rate through Harry (B.I.'s owner) they are a RENNtech dealer. I'm putting in RENN's DP's in a few weeks, can't wait!
Thanks Peter!

I love the RS 101 design so it was an easy decision. I still do think that ADV1 has some amazing designs, especially the spoke artistry in their SL and CS series wheels, and that their wheels visually are real art but having heard too many stories on forums of their wheels allegedly not fitting properly, allegedly big delays in production of ordered wheels, alleged wheel failures and poor manufacturing quality (some of the pictures of the build quality of a failed wheel on M3Post were downright scary and frankly disturbing) and watching the ADV1 senior leadership team's behavior in their 20 minute "Inside ADV1" video on their website (which I found to be downright juvenile and not befitting a company to which I would fork over $8,000-$10,000) I decided to go with the gold standard in custom forged wheels: HRE.
I am not that young anymore (over 40) and I want quality -- not flash. HRE represented quality to me. If ADV1 had a similar reputation I probably would have sprung for their ADV07 Track Spec SL wheels, which look off the hook. Whoever does the visual design of their wheels is a genius. But my research indicated to me that HRE was the best way to go for me.

They will when the weather turns warm in 2015. Car comes in January. Getting the wheels now and putting them in my storage unit until then. Winter set will go on when the car comes (Pirelli Winter Sottozero Serie II on the 19 inch forged OEM AMG twin 5 spoke wheels).
Car will be Lunar Blue. Wanted a color that few people have on their E63 (given that like 95 percent of E63s are black, white or silver) as I like to march to the beat of a different drummer. The RS 101s with brushed aluminum face, and polished lip and spoke widows and gloss silver inner barrels should pop nicely against the dark blue paint.

Exteriorwise I did not get pano roof, night styling or carbon fiber. Just did not think any of those would have a big visual impact as they would get lost in the dark blue paint.
Had I gotten a white car or a black car it would be a different story. And I like to drive in the mountain twisties and did not want the pano roof's 100 extra pounds which are also way high up on the car. And I never use sunroofs anyway.

Sure. Car will be located in New York City. I expect to do the install in later April 2015 once the cold weather is gone. You are welcome to shoot it as right now the only pics of those wheels on your website that I remember are black ones on a Lambo Aventador. Whenever I see black wheels pictured I do not get a great sense of their design given their darkness. Mine will obviously be tons brighter with the brushed/polished two tone look.

Yes I heard many of the same stories about the ADV1s. I have no idea if they are true or not but, being that I am a one car guy and live in potholed NYC, I decided to stay away from them and go HRE.
