Thinking of ordering a E63 AMG S Wagon in the USA - 2015. I have ventilated seats in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and they are awesome, one of my favorite features.
The seats are very comfortable and very supportive. But the ventilation feature is not very good. It forces air out, rather than drawing air in as a Porsche would, for example.
As stated earlier they're standard. They're mild but I do feel a difference with them on when wearing a t shirt and shorts. It helps keep my back from getting too warm/sweating when sitting in the car for an extended period of time. I'd rather have them than not.
Im a huge fan of decent seat ventilation (Toyota Tundra I have has excellent ones).
The fans in the E63 dont move enough air. I can't imagine anyone using it on any setting other than "3".
I've honestly considered what it might take to replace the fan, wherever it is, with a more powerful unit. I presume its a small 12v with a specific form factor. Fry's is full of decently powerful fans that are reasonably quiet.

I can confirm the Ventilated Seats still suck in the 2016 E63s. Disappointing. Especially here in the SE US summer.

Can confirm our ventilated seats are a raging dumpster fire. The ventilated seats in my wife's Porsche Cayenne are about five times stronger and actually blow cold air.
