2014 E63 1st Service, Diff Oil Change @ 1850 miles, Price
Ouch, your dealer should send out coupons and a tube a lube.
I just checked my initial service... the Diff Service was $201.30, (3) units of oil @$35.10 each and $96 for the labor. I also had the engine oil/filer changed which brought the total to $357.
This is my regular dealer located in a very high rent district.
The service adviser had initially written $300 down for it but it ended up being covered by prepaid maintenance, thankfully.
The invoice indicates 4 qts oil, 1 screw plug, and .2 hours.
They did have to order the screw plug so I had to leave it overnight ... might want to make sure they have the plug in stock if you don't want to leave it.

I can afford to buy six figure cars because I worry about things that cost three figures.

If was buying a seven figure car, I'd probably be sweating expenditures that were four figures.
Getting porked is getting porked is getting porked. End of story.
its no big deal to me and wanted to share for informational purposes. $190/hr for car labor sounds like a nice rate and good for them b/c they are getting it with a line out the door.
A $3K front brake job becomes a $4K job, etc.....
If it's not a big deal, then why ask about coupons?
My dealer charges fair rates for parts and labor. Sends a porter out to my house to pick up the cars and leave a loaner. But I've never seen them run any promotions. I trust them, and don't have to wait in any lines.
Expect more from your dealer. $0.02

I shopped around for a great deal on my car and ended up saving about 12,000 bucks by doing it. That certainly paid for a lot of the mods I'm gonna put on.
Ok.
You created a thread about a very simple service. You asked about coupons and stated that you were glad the first service was free.
To me, that reads as someone being *very* price sensitive. Not judging, but realize that the tone of the thread was set in the first post.
Would you like for me to delete my quote of your first post since you have now chosen to delete it?
