E63 wagon available
Ace - not sure you understand the build specs on these automobiles. Carbon brakes (an $8k option) can cost as much as $12k to replace all the way around. One can also destroy them in an afternoon on a 6k ft runway. Many cars are coming into the county configured as such, and are standard on certain AMGs (like the S65). Please don't pull readers astray
...
Oh, I understand just fine.
Nearly everything you have posted in this thread is BS or flat out incorrect.
There is no "Track Pack." As noted by others. You're not seeing the forest through all the trees. And looking at the build sheet is compounding that specific problem.
Confusion abounds over these stand-alone driver-aid option codes and packaged codes. The individual codes for identical features are different when included in one or the other option package. Looking at the codes on a given build sheet (of which I believe there are multiple versions) may or may not align with the groupings and codes found on the DOG.
Regardless, there is no track pack. End of story.
CCBs will not get destroyed "in one afternoon." If that were the case, the AMGDA would be performing full brake replacement jobs 2X a day. LOL... which they don't. Not even close. Imagine how many times Audi Joest would have to replace the rotors at the 24hrs of LeMans event....
Additionally, CCB (Option code B07) is $8,950 in both 2014 and 2015. Not $8,000 as you indicated.
Maybe it's time for a reset, eh?
LOLOL.
I'm glad you went back and read my post history. Not much to pick apart, is there? Just basic well documented information and fairly disclosed opinions.
You are clearly know everything there is to be known about the refreshed W212 and S212 in the US market. So having acknowledged that, I will leave you to your wild claims, stories and undocumented doc snips.
Enjoy.
But dangit, if you didn't have such a chip on your shoulder I'd like to contact you RE an S63 which I'm in the market to purchase
Frankly, I would have hoped for a more contrite demeanor - knowledgeable MB salesmen are hard to find. But smart, angry, and condescending is just not a combination I look for as I'm about to spend $200k.
And I have one thing going for me and others that view this - I'm the customer
Too effing funny.
I don't think we've had such a troll in this forum since I've been posting here.
Your BS is reaching epic levels. Really, it is.
I'm drawn in, though. So kudos to you.
Now how about a linky for that "track package" snip you posted?
I know where it came from. And I'm certain that you know where it came from. And at least one other person knows, too. And all three of us know that it has NOTHING to do with the facelifted W212/S212.
Once you prove someone to be dishonest, it's impossible to believe anything else they say or write.
So how about you own up to that lie? Then maybe we'll work backwards and have fun tearing apart the rest of the stuff you've written.

on EPCnet. Which also goes for the rest of the documents you find so incredulous.
Hope your customers are as pliable and receiving of high testosterone
This is a word-for-word snip (from a verifiable source) of what you posted earlier, then deleted.
And tah-dah.... here's the vehicle to which those two groups of equipment belong....

Ouch. Crunch. Clang.
Wow, beautiful car. I'd be interested if it had Distronic. http://www.mb-scottsdale.com/new/201...hh7gb3ea979905

Just to put a bow on all this foolishness to which this thread has been exposed...
That VIN matches up with a MY14 E63S Wagon.
MSRP is $110,820
$102,370 Base Price
$875 Lane Tracking Package (Code 993)
$750 Night Styling (Code P60)
$500 10 Spoke Black Wheels (Code 752)
$5,400 B&O Sound System (Code 811)
$925 Destination
It is a pretty wagon, for sure. But it certainly doesn't have any sort of "Track" pack on it.
Obviously Ace doesn't sell these cars but he certainly knows a lot more than most of those who do.
Total BS needs to be called out. Sometimes it ends up being fun, but really it's for the next guy who comes here down the road and reads these posts to learn more about the car and ends up being misinformed.
And to be clear, I have no idea what the two axle replacement cost for the CCB rotors and pads is. I'm sure it's an eyewatering figure. But they're not gonna be toast in one half day of running. NFW.
If anyone ever sees me post BS that isn't backed by links, photos, etc. Call me out on it. I don't mind.

Subjective posts are always open to further discussion. That's how a healthy forum thrives.
I don't care if other people say there is, especially from a non-owner's word. Just let it be, they will find out one day.
Our time should be better invested.
