Yes the dealer that I know has gotten four orders from members (2 E63 S sedans, an E63 S wagon and a facelifted 2015 CLS63) and I think a fifth because he offers an unbeatable discount (very high volume dealer owning many MB dealerships) and gives it right away with no back and forth. Wagons, however, take a long time to get from an order because of their super limited production numbers. The E63 S sedans come a lot faster.
No question if a member wants to find an E63 S wagon in dealer stock they will find it somewhere. But it is almost certainly going to be white or black and very optioned up.
I ordered my E63 S sedan because I wanted colors that are no so common (lunar blue exterior and design light brown leather interior) and because I did not want the Driver Assistance Package (which is on almost every E63 in dealer stock).
There's a few low mileage 2014 wagons floating around and you can save a bunch. However, a VMI on one used 2014 I had my eye one showed all sorts of service on brakes at only 1500 miles. He went through 2 sets @ $10k each, and tried to warranty it. It also had a "track package" - which drops resell value by as much as 40%. A quick call to the dealer and sure enough, the kid ran the **** out of it at the track then got a new one 3 months later.
I'll wait.
Another I found w/5k miles had recurring electrical issues and was an early lease turning/repo. I've found yet another that seems clean so far, but I'm just wondering. Spend another $20k and wait a few weeks for the "forced distribution" 2015 cars to hit dealers? Builds for SOs are like February, with a late March delivery.

Apparently the only 2014's left are overpriced, black/black, missing the drivers package (you do NOT want to be without that on this car, believe me), or the dealer is upside down on the car and can't discount it.

I cannot imagine not ordering a car at this price range. I want it exactly the way I want it.

Whats wrong running on the track. You need to at least do it one day to learn the cars potential. You will be impressed, as well as all the Porsches you pass.

There is no such thing as a "track' package on an E63S.
It is impossible to run through two sets of rotors in 1500 miles. I don't care how you are using it. Impossible. No one is hauling an E63 to the track. That means lots of street miles getting there and back. Maybe half of those miles were actually run in anger.
A full set of iron rotors and pads does not cost $10K.

Ace - not sure you understand the build specs on these automobiles. Carbon brakes (an $8k option) can cost as much as $12k to replace all the way around. One can also destroy them in an afternoon on a 6k ft runway. Many cars are coming into the county configured as such, and are standard on certain AMGs (like the S65). Please don't pull readers astray

Neither the US domestic ordering guide or the dealer configurator have a track package. I do note that the code for that item on the table you displayed has a P at the end of it. I know from the dealer configurator that P stands for the S model. The configurator still uses the "P" code which stands for Performance Package which stands for the S model.
As for CCB they sure do look good but I passed on them in part because of their Sky high replacement cost.
