CLS 63 AMG 2012
Question Does the E63 and CLS63 have the same wheel fitment?

Does the E63 and CLS63 -12 have the same wheel fitment?

I'm looking for new wheels and have found some from E63 but do they fit the CLS63?

Thanks!

Depends.

You don't offer any specifics. So, there's not enough information to evaluate.

What are the specs on the E63 wheels?

I'm thinking stock 19". Is the ET and so on the same on E63 and CLS63?
Think i've read that the CLS is built on the same platform as the E63.

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
Correct. Rear wheels are 10" wide on the CLS63, 9.5" for the E63. I always wonder why.

Not even close. The e w212 has much higher offsets and the opposite for the cls. The cls is able to achieve a much bigger lip in the rears. I believe the front offsets are very similar.

I am running aftermarket 20x10.5 tears with a 39 offset on my e63 and sit aggresive fitment. A cls could run 20x11 with around a 30 offset in the rear

19" CLS550 wheels are a good fit for the E63S. That's what I use for my winter wheels.

Don't want to start another tire/wheel thread so I'm going to revive this one.

My brother is selling his 2005 SL500, so I have a chance to aquire his 20" BBS CH-R FOR FREE. Now, I love my stock 19" wheels, but you don't come by free BBS too often. sitting on 20" is quite tempting too. However I'm not too sure if these wheels would fit to my car, or if I need to roll fenders or install spacers or anything.

The tire/wheel specs of the BBS are:
Front: 20x9 ET25 245/30 ZR20 (brand new tires)
Rear: 20x10.5 ET25 275/30 R20 (tread is reaching indicator)

I also have a set of H&R springs & lowering links waiting to be installed.

Will these fit to my car?

I bought 10 inch wide rear wheels from HRE. They fit and are actually a better width for the OEM tire size than the stock 9.5 inch width.

No they won't.

Those widths are fine but to run that you need an "ideal" offset. ET25 is too aggressive.

For those width wheels you need Front offset to be around 30-35 and rears around 42-45.

as long as they clear the calipers, just do a test fit, I ran some Vossens on my E63, and they went right on my CLS63 with no issue

SDG - so you are running rear 10s on your E63 ? I am looking to replace my OEM 9.5s (rear) with 10s and wanted to make sure it will be ok. Actually - the 10s I found were removed from a brand new CLS believe it or not. TIA.

These will not fit in the rear. Especially if you lower, I am running 20x10.5 Et35 rear and they poke in the rear on stock suspension. If I was lowered these wheels would not fit. There is no way a 10.5" wide ET25 wheel will fit.

I like those s550 19s. Are they 9" or 9 1/2" wide?

You drive more slowly in winter I presume. Same wheel/tyres all 4 corners? Thx.

Front should fit but rears will not. Unless you run a stretched tires and go -3 negative camber to fit.

If I can nail down some S or CLS wheels, I will sell my 10 spoke E63S's. They are charcoal with polished fins. Like the ones below for $4,200.

Selling my OEM E63s AMG wheels with original Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires. Has about 1,800 miles on them before it was replaced with aftermarket 20”.

$4,200 including shipping from Socal which is about $450 for shipping. No scratches, curb rash or damage. They were installed on my brother’s E class for photo purposes only and removed.

Also, I am told that 2012 CLS63 has the same bolt pattern and offset, so CLS wheels will fit my E63S: 9x19, 9.5x19 52mm offset, 112mm pattern.
Interested in a trade. 1 curb rash LF. Thanks.
Photos if interested. Share freight costs.

I am researching the crap out of this subject and the offset in the rears for E63 is 52mm, 47mm for 10" CLS.
Looking for 2014 CLS63 rims for my E63S. 19x9 & 19x9.5 or 10" Anyone foresee any problems with the extra 1/2 inch width and 5mm offset decrease? Thx.

I do not see a problem. I used to run 10mm spacers on stock wheels on the front and rear. I could have squeezed an additional 5mm I feel.
I also ran a 19x10 with 45 offset with no problems on the rear

What size tire are you running? I am currently on 19x10.5 with 305/30's rear at +49. I believe I could have gone with a 11", kept it at 305/30 and, according to online calculator, offset +43 or so.

Guys, just bumping this. I have a full set of E63S wheels for sale, as well as a mismatched pair of the rare 19x10 CLS63 wheels for you wanting a wider rear track. 6 total wheels.
