2018 GLC 43 & 2014 SLK 350, gone 2016 E63 Wagon
2016 E63S Wagon Ordered
Went in to my local MB dealer and ordered an E63S wagon January 31. Salesman indicated that they had an allocation that was changeable so we could configure it the way we wanted. Jumped at the opportunity and he indicated that it will be 2016 MY. He has confirmed a production date of March 11th with a delivery date of April 25th. No pricing on it yet.
We ordered Diamond White with Silk Beige interior, Dark Ash trim, Intelligent Drive Package and Avantegarde Edition Package (previous Premium Package?).
Can hardly wait! It will go well with our 2014 SLK 350 Diamond White Bengal Red interior.

I drove the E63S sedan last year at a MB event at Lime rock, perfect car imo.
Does the new wagon have a jump seat in the back? They used to...
The new wagon is the only car that I feel could replace my r63.

Jump seat is only available in the E400 wagon - not in the AMG version. Drove an E63S sedan and was really impressed (hard to believe the power). We also drove an E63 wagon (non "S") and could certainly tell the difference in the engine size. Replacing my GLK with the wagon - sedan does not have enough space for our needs.

That is correct. When our salesman tried to change the configuration of the allocated car and it came up as a 2016 model and not 2015 (that was not available in the order system). He indicated we will get one of the first 2016's in Canada. Hopefully the delivery date won't change.

I hear there's a constraint issue with 360 camera on the 2016 E and CLS cars and that it won't be available. Did you spec this option? If you did, I'd have the dealer double check to make sure you can get this.

I have already seen issues on my 14MY 360 camera, need to get it checked by dealer. Any idea why 15MY has such a short life?

I ocasionnally get a glitch and then blank screen in 360 camera while backing out of my driveway. Seems like it's a bad connection or something. Happens about once every 2 weeks, randomly... will mention it at next service. Goes with the stop-start that works on it's own schedule!

No reason other than the factory sometimes will stagger the launch of different models to better manage production capacities.

I have not checked again with my salesman but option "501 - 360 degrees rear view camera" was on the list that we went through when I ordered the wagon. It is also on the technical details listing that he sent to me after he confirmed my order.

I believe that the "premium package" has been renamed the avantgard edition. Not sure if this is only in Canada. From the technical details on my order it includes: rear door roller blinds, climate comfort front seats, drive dynamic multi contour driver seat, 360 degree rear camera, hands free access, heated Rear seats and keyless go.

16 E63 Wagon
I am doing Euro delivery on a 2015 Wagon in May.. I am guessing its a 2015.. Actually we haven't really discussed the fact that it could be a 2016 according to this thread? But i wouldn't think 2016 Wagon would be out this early..

Lenin/Tylbran -- here in NY i've had lots of trouble getting clear commitments from dealers with respect to production dates for MY 2016 e63. Dealer1 claims production begins in June and he can get me a car by July (seems fast), Dealer2 said orders are currently taken into cue but pricing isn't finalized and production date isn't set, Dealer 3 said 2016s are already in production. Any better info?

Order what I thought was a 15 e63s wgn in January 15'.
Turned out to be a 16' produced in late March. In shipping
Last week should see by mid May. Curious that there is no pricing
