I think that you may see 6th if above 60 and flat road or at least I did out on a country road last week. 5th at 60 or below sounds about right. I have not paid that much attention though. I keep mine in C most of the time, Or use M and paddles.

Not sure why you would bother with sport for a relatively slow commute. Bad enough to get 17 mpg when commuting, but doesn't sport really exacerbate that mileage? Unless, of course, you have an empty road, reasonable road surface, lots of curves, etc. In any event, you have a better chance of getting past 5th in C setting. We drove in Scotland after we picked up our car and the road were perfect for getting a Porsche feel. Couldn't get above 50 mph, but the ride was a hoot.

As the other poster pointed out, the gas mileage is not so great when it won't get above 5th. I used comfort yesterday but I like to have fun and downshift coming to the lights of which I have many and comfort downshifts so slow its almost useless. Just wanted to confirm that its normal that it won't upshift to 6th or 7th in sport +.

Yes, normal behavior. The car thinks you want to play.
You should be able to force an upshift or two via the flappy paddles.
