I was recently denied entry as neither smart keys exhibited any smartness. MBRACE told me to call dealer, which I did, and they found a software issue. There is an update called for by a service bulletin. After a second bout with that I checked dealer, and found that multiple clicking can reset the receptor in the car. Clicking once after that will reset it to receive the Smart key signal.
