Opti coat on windshield question
So, my detail guy put opti coat on the car and windows. I just wiped some bugs off of the windshield with a dry paper towel. Then I noticed that it looked like I scratched it. So got the foam glass cleaner and started wiping. It got worse and worse. Now it looks like there are scratches and a foggy patch on the windshield right in front of the driver. Did I just **** up my windshield, or is this just the opti coat wiping away?? And if so, any suggestions as t how to fix this problem?

Not sure, but I've had it on for a couple months already. Can't notice it as much from inside, but def see it from the outside.

My detail guy is my moms neighbor who also was my brothers 5th grade teacher, that just happens to be one of the best detail guys in SB, so I'm sure he'll take care of it. Now that I think about it, he used opti coat on our other cars, but this time the company came out with a different product, and the name escapes me right now. He was excited about it and thought it to be superior to opti coat. But yes, he did say he put the same product on the car and glass.

Maybe the product doesnt bond as well to glass as it does to paint and that's why it became all swirly on you when you were cleaning your windshield.
At any rate, with that awesome history I'm sure he will take care of it no worries.
