2011 or 2012 E63. Which One?

2011 or 2012 E63. Which One?
I think I've decided to go with the e63 instead of the c63. Before I get to my main question, why is depreciation so much worse on the e63? Should I expect the same to happen over the course of my ownership (lets say 4 years)?
So on to the main question. I am looking at two E63's and I am not sure whats the better value.
2011 E63:
- MSRP $101k
- 52k miles
- no accidents
- Price: $44k at carmax
- 5 year maxcare warranty $3.5k
- OTD around $52k
2012 E63:
- MSRP $93k
- 48k miles
- no accidents
- Price: $55k at dealership
- CPO
- OTD around $55k (assuming I can work the price a little).
So which is the better choice?
2011 with a better warranty, cheaper, higher original msrp, and the NA engine?
2012 with the bi-turbo engine, cpo (only for a year though), slightly better interior (imo), and its a newer model?
So on to the main question. I am looking at two E63's and I am not sure whats the better value.

Your presented with a pretty hard choice, but here is things to consider:
1: The 2011 with the higher MSRP is loaded with more options, but are those the options that you want or even care for? The 2012 with its MSRP seems like a base AMG and can you live with that ?
2: Does both models come as CPO or just the 2012? CPO cars are the only use car I would buy. Either way, I would ask the 2 dealers to see the service history on both cars to see if there is any service record that may deter you one from the other.
3: Are you planing to doing any tuning to the car ? If so, I think the V8 tt has more tuning options.
Sorry, I can answer why the E63s has more depreciation value than the C63, but if plan on owning the car for about 4 years, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Good luck with your choice and post some pics when you bring the beast home.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I'd go with the 2012 all day long, more efficient and modern and lot's of improvements over the 2011. Plus a year newer which on these cars is 5 to 8 grand within itself. I'd think the 2012 would hold it's value better too (still not great though) than the 2011 as most people do want the 157 TT.

Here at least the c63 seems to have a very sporty reputation compared with the e63. It is also fairly well known among car enthusiasts. The e63 is much less popular, less well recognized and known. Hence lower prices. I would take the e63 anyday.
