I would like to lower my 2010 E63
Ok so whats the best option?
Renntech V3 Digital Suspension
H&R Springs for front only
H&R Springs for the front and links for the rear.
I just found out that the Renntech V3 lowers the front and rear.
What are most guys doing?

I've got H&R springs for the front and links for the rear. The H&R appears to drop it by 30-40mm....but it does look really good. I thought it was going to be less, but I'm not complaining...yet. If you have a front lip as well, you will have your heart in your mouth half the time when driving fast on country roads, or if you have to go to a car park that you're not sure if it has steep inclines etc
A forum vendor here was able to hook up the lowering links and all in all it was pretty cheap. Lowering should be one of the first mods that anybody does to their E63.

I recently went the H&R route. I thought the rear would tuck down a bit (which it may have) but not nearly enough for my liking. I am not one to slam a vehicle. I prefer a slight drop and for this particular vehicle, I wanted a little rake to the stance but leaving the rear as is was not an option for me. The H&R lowered the front a little more than I expected.
For the rear, I went over to the great folks over at Benzworks who was recommened by some other great folks at Supreme Power (both in the SoCal area) to lower the rear using a STAR diagnostics tool. It was a matter of minutes for each trial to find the right height and I am pretty happy with the results. I will now attempt to post some photos.

can hardly tell with the rears...atleast to my eyes
did u do any measurements
so how do they do it with star, just plug int obd and adjust thru there??
if u can do it with star then i dont get why people use links...few yrs ago there was all this talk of using the KW HAS system up front and links in back

The rear doesn't adjust itself it the front has only been lowered. I've tested this myself.
However, lowering links and a couple of hours of your time and you'll be able to dial in the perfect ride height for the rear at a fraction of the cost of having it done via a module etc.
What I particularly like, it that I can have a low stance on the rear to match the front, but when passengers get in the car, it just raises itself back up to it's new 'default' height. Brilliant! No worries about rubbing whatsoever with a loaded car.

You can find details of the wheels here. I was surprised at how inexpensive they are for the quality of the wheel. I am extremely happy with them, thus far, and they are extremely light weight.

I didn't get to see how it was done as by the time I went back to see the work they were already done. It was really quick and if you can find a shop with the tool, you don't have to pay the cost of purchasing the tool. I just hope they are around when it's time to adjust back to original settings...
From what was explained to me, they did the initial adjustment in the settings, then there are mechanical adjustments that can be manipulated to adjust to about 3 different levels.
Sorry I don't have much more details but from my experience, this was a quick and inexpensive process to lower your vehilce.

I did initially take measurements prior to lowering but didn't write any of them down as I thought I was going to get the rear taken care of ASAP. Silly me. Adjusting the rear closed the rear gap by about a half of the original height. It's the angle of my photos that don't allow you to see the slight difference. You can not fine tune the height with the STAR tool like what I hear about the links but I am happy the way it sits now. What I was going for was to have the rear fender sit right at the level of the tire but it's good enough for me, for now.

It sits slightly above the wheel which is ok for me. I don't want the slam look at all! I think I can live with that and I guess worse case I can do the links in the rear if I want it lower
