Modifying 2010 E63 AMG
The purpose of this car is to use it on a few road rallies this year and part of next year. We will be modifying this car for that purpose. In my opinion 518HP is more than enough to hang with some super cars on a long highway journey. Im half owner of a company that makes aftermarket carbon parts and custom fabrication for the automotive industry. So we have some ideas on how we want to set this car up. We need to have this car setup by August for the first event.
Mods:
Front lip
diffuser
spoiler
roof spoiler
mirror caps
paint calipers
AL Priority Laser Jammer/STiR radar
Standing Star delete (ordered)
Any suggestions for potential mods are always welcome as this is my first AMG. Heres a pre-purchase pic of the car.
We do have a few other toys in the stable.
Our custom built satin orange Lotus Elige (hybrid between an Elise and an Exige)
Are you planing on making the CF parts yourself or are you going to buy aftermarket CF parts?
What year is your turbo s? I used to have a 996 GT3.
The Porsche is a 2014 that I haven't taken delivery because the seller ( My uncle ) is still in Taiwan and China so haven't gotten the paperworks. Can't wait to get that baby in my garage.
Good luck with your new toy.

Only snag with fancy carbon bits and lowering etc is that once the car looks too pretty...you'll be too nervous to actually drive it like the way the good Lord intended. Food for thought.
Cat delete and Tune seems like a good way to get more drama. The locals here tell me it's worth a cumulative ~40hp and amazing sound. I'm not brave enough to do that just yet though. Might be a good idea for your road racer though.
Also...my vote would be coilovers and grippier rubber. I kinda really wanna do coilovers on mine, but I don't drive it hard enough to justify.

I like your style. I of course can't afford to replace parts, lol, hence why I drive mine a bit girly most of the time.Hanging with the big boys...now this is where perhaps coilovers and tuning the chassis might help. The E63 isn't overly fast and it's quite heavy....so if you're contending even with something like an M3 or RS4, you're going to struggle badly to keep up.
But who cares I suppose. Just be sure to take lots of nice pics of your car in convoys n stuff. This forum section is desperate for some action. I miss my W211 E55 days.

Corsa America Rally
Our next one is a one day event this month. Then another in August. The AMG is being prepped for the one in August.
I was able to get the bluetooth streaming to work so now I have my iPad mini setup for pandora and WAZE. Next up is to get this car tinted.
Read post #22 you will need the newest software. Even with that its a little glitchy.
Any one have a diy for diffuser removal? Need to start working on that.
