FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
So they are aiming for 600PS via the new 9-speed. As always, the 4matic will be continued to bring down the 0-60 time.
Quality and interior aside, I still like the CTS-V's approach to things, higher hp/tq via supercharging a larger displacement engine. AWD is good, but it's too easy and feels like cheating to bring down the 0-60 time just like using forced induction to easily increase engine output.

Wow a nine speed ... Enjoy beta testing that you suckers that buy the 2017 e63S

However lighter, more power (reported), and two extra gears (are these accelerating gears or overdrive gears?) may net a 3.0-3.2 second 0-60

I'm looking forward to a day when I'll trade this heap in for the new e63s in all its glory ... Hopefully all the transmission kinks will be worked mostly out

About what I was expecting. I also expect it will be a DCT, or they will be caught napping. The next M5 should hit those numbers, will be an Xdrive and have an excellent DCT.

Looks like the major upgrade reason will be a more upscale interior with a S class style and displays, more gee whiz self driving and parking features and good looks. They also will prob boost the fuel efficiency by several MPG. I would also expect base up to 105-110K. Why? Because they know they can

New E's as 2017s and prob face lifted/refreshed S class 2018.
