Guys. Need your help. A member recently mentioned ambient interior lighting and if a 2012 AMG E63 had them. I though it didn't, but apparently some members said it did. I have search the setting on my steering wheel under lighting, but was only able to adjust the brightness of the interior lights from 5 to 1.
Does anyone know if the ambient interior lighting is an option in which the interior light can be changed to different colors or is this standard on the 2012-2013 AMG E63 or even the facelift E63?
If it is standard in which all AMG E63 has. Can anyone direct me to the right direction as I can't figure out how to change the ambient interior lighting colors.
Thanks. I was reading on the M157 Cars thread, members with US specs. 2012 E63 and CLS63 all have the ambient light that changed color so I am wondering if that is some kind of option or its standard on the E63.
I've tried using the steering wheel menu to lighting and as per picture, it only allows me to adjust the brightness of the light.
Any idea guys. Is this an option or standard? Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks in advance.

Press the down or up arrow until you get different options for color choices and then hit enter to change
Hey Peter. If you look at my photo, it says Amb. +/- and when I hit either the up or down arrow, it only allows me to adjust the brightness of the Amb. There is no other option to choose from.
I was wondering if this was an option of some kind of if it is standard thought I wouldn't understand if this was offer as part of an option. Am I doing something wrong?

You have to press OK to change the intensity. If you press up or down, it should change to another option which is color (if you car has it).
2012's and 2013's will only stay that amber color but have 4 different intensities.
This is odd. As you can see from different members on this thread. Some say the 2012 E63 and CLS63 has different Amber colors? Does that mean it's a option of some kind? If it's an option, it's on option I can't find on MBusa website.

My 2012 doesn't have different colors only intensity levels. Unless I'm not seeing it in the options menu.
Just the intensity levels on mine too, can't remember if it's four or five, maybe it is five come to think of it. I think to get the colors you gotta have a S class. I like the amber anyhow so it's not a issue for me.
