Yes he did have more MPH than me, both slow runs in the heat of the day . This pass was 11.6 at 121 for me and 12.7 at 123 for him with similar reaction times (he actually tree'd me by just a bit) - best runs were 11.9 at 125 for him and 11.4 at 124 for me.

TT if i'm not mistaken your best run was with your ECU piggyback on, right?

One other thing to consider is there are different ways to launch the car, stalling it against the wet clutch will provide the quickest 60' and is how AMS manages 1.6 short times. My best 60' is a 1.80 using race start, which I feel is easier on the drivetrain as it slips the clutch out of the hole. With a 4,700lbs race weight and all that torque I'm not looking to break this thing lol
Same went for my C63, best runs at Atco in the fall 11.3-11.4 but in the summer at Z-Max fell off to 12.0-12.1 summertime sucks for power production.
Hopefully will see better numbers this fall once the temps drop and the heat exchangers are no longer taxed.

All I have is an AMS tune, colder plugs, K&N filters, and some heat shielding on the turbo inlet pipes. I don't have downpipes just stock cats with resonator/muffler delete for some added noise, and I honestly don't think it will run 10's even in perfect conditions - however conditions is the biggest reason I think it seems slow right now. We are currently in the middle of summer after all. My best stock runs were at Atco last fall in dry 40* temps (and 33' track elevation, -1,381' DA) compared to my best runs tuned at Gateway in humid 90* temps (and 450' track elevation, +2,782' DA). That's a 4,163' swing in DA from my best stock time to my best (so far) tuned time. As far as power goes I can't complain, in cooler weather it put down 590hp / 726tq consistently (with 605hp / 733tq being the best numbers), and in 90* humid conditions put down 562hp / 685tq.

No my stock run was just that, 100% stock and I wanted to do a piggyback so I could remove it when needed but ended up going with AMS after speaking with several tuning companies. I felt that they had the most experience tuning high horsepower forced induction engines and have proven they know how to make power without killing engines in all sorts of cars.
