Any major issues to watch out in Pre-facelift W212 E63
I mainly drive my 2005 E500 to work, and enjoy taking my wife and daughters out in it. I love my 2005 E500. Even when the "Car too low, do not drive"
warning comes on, and I paid heavily for the 4 suspension replacement,
I still love the 2005 E500.
Yet, I feel very worried about the SBC brake failure experience, after reading the forum here. I never have problems with my SBC brakes. But my friend has.
I am thinking of selling my 2005 E500 and go on to a pre-facelift used W212 E63? To my knowledge, the facelifted W211 already does not use SBC brakes.
Any similar problems/ or other problems in Pre-facelift W212 E63?

Well my suggestion would be a biturbo 2012 or 2013, but then again I'm partial to those. Not many problems I see. Brakes hold up fine, car drives great but firm even in comfort, fast as all heck. So if you want a performance car on a budget this ones for you. Pre 2011's had some problems with head bolts and cams wearing, not so in the 2012 or 13's so to be safe this is why I make this suggestion.

Sorry for being unclear.
I am referring to around 2011 - 2013 E63
with biturbo 5.5 litre engine,
and 4 square headlights, instead of the newer "fused" headlight.
I want the 4 square headlights, as it is "older" style, and cheaper.

Please also educate me on the air suspension. I do not know too much about car mechanics. Previously, I did not that it is usual to change the Spring/mechanical/non-air suspension.
Do all air suspension need replacement after some time? Or is it just a W211 thing? Thanks.
