Your right about only living once.
Regarding reliability. The Biturbo are fairly reliable with no engine or transmission issues that should be of concern, however do not buy one if it is not certified ( CPO ) or with ample amount of factory warranty left or extended warranty. There are issues like the headlights getting so hot, it burns a V mark on both side of the headlights and Mercedes is replacing them FOC during factory warranty period. If possible, do not get high mileage E63 and get the P30 Performance package.
2012/2013 does not have the ambient lighting unfortunately, but it does have parking sensors.

Good luck.
thanks for the reply David,This one is a CPO car, very low mileage, and a P30 car ( wont buy anything else ).
Had no idea about the headlight issue!!! And I also found it funny my sales person told me the wagons didn't have it optional the parking sensors......
I kinda have a problem paying that money and not having the peace of mind of having parking sensors......

My pleasure. Your sales is probably new to Mercrdes of AMG. It's hard to think a AMG with its MSRP that doesn't come with parking sensors. I think even Honda has them.
CPO and P30 is the way to go. Remember to ask to see the service history of your interested AMG to see if there is any service history to raise a red flag. If they wouldn't show you, don't buy it. What color and options does the car come with?
Really. Is that part of the lighting package or would you mind sharing how to change the ambient setting. I tried it from the steering wheel, but nothing. Thanks in advance.
Guys. Need your help. A member recently mentioned ambient interior lighting and if a 2012 AMG E63 had them. I though it didn't, but apparently some members said it did. I have search the setting on my steering wheel under lighting, but was only able to adjust the brightness of the interior lights from 5 to 1.
Does anyone know if the ambient interior lighting is an option in which the interior light can be changed to different colors or is this standard on the 2012-2013 AMG E63 or even the facelift E63?
If it is standard in which all AMG E63 has. Can anyone direct me to the right direction as I can't figure out how to change the ambient interior lighting colors.

Good luck. Your only single once. Lol.
its iridium silver, 31 600 km odo, p30,int carbon pack, premium, advanced driving assistance
( its supposed to be fully fully loaded but I guess not without sensors )
I would figure it has ambient lighting, the 211 has it,but you cannot control it,I've seen photos of it under the trim and on the door cards lit up on the newer ones.
And good advice about the record,I didn't even think of that
