Good deal on 15 E63S?

Interested in getting back into an AMG. Looking at a leftover 15 E63S with an MSRP of $110k.

With discounts and programs, 36 month lease comes to $3700 at inception, $1475 per month. Seems a bit high, but I have not shopped around at all.

Thanks

Sounds like a lot of money to me. Maybe try to get 10 to 15K off sticker with USAA and other discounts, I'd think you'd be better off buying at that price rather than leasing, just my opinion.

Significant redesign coming for 2017. Owning it means I will get killed when I try to sell it.

I qualify for a $4500 ABA discount.

Ok, yep, high. Assuming top credit.

You can get 110 for 103, plus any mfr incentives on top. Negotiate the car not the payment.

It was 103 less the $4,500 ABA discount. So $98.5k

I searched local dealers. Did not find any other 15 E63S cars anywhere.

2015 AMG E63S 212
Make an offer

I have a '15 and plan to put 100k on it (already at 20k). Best car ever. I think you should make an offer of $95 or less. Then, if not accepted, make an offer every month, each time lower.
Great drive!

Trust me you can get the car for 8.5 percent off sticker minus the incentive. You are looking at 7 percent off but there is room to go down to 8.5 percent off with the right dealer.

I know of what I speak

This is no reason to pass on purchasing a car -- simply ensure that the recall is completed and problem solved.

I guess it depends on the cost. If it will be outdated in one calendar year anyway, it won't matter if it is a 15 or 16. I will be driving a mercedes for one year before the new body style comes out.

Assuming the cars are the same from an equipment standpoint, there is no reason in my view to lease a 16 over a 15 - assuming the 15 is cheaper to lease.

As for the recall - the notice was from February of 2015. Hard to imagine that the new E63 on the showroom floor wasn't built with the fix already implemented or wasn't otherwise fixed by the dealer.

The 2016's are done at t he factory in Germany. As for the recall years each dealership was ordered to do so but who's to say besides rather be a 2016 with the factory having it be done be right.

If you are this paranoid about recalls, then you should probably not own or drive a car considering that pretty much every vehicle has at least one recall at some point (I have never owned a car that has not had a least one recall).

Lol!! You are citing concern over three or four plastic clips that need to be installed to fulfill the recall?
