New Escort Max 360 Radar
I just preordered the new Escort Max 360. I currently have the Passport 9500xi and I love Escort's products. One thing that really steered me to this new radar is that it has the directional arrows.
This is one reason I liked the Valentine V1, just hated how annoying it was since it didn't have the auto learn feature and no GPS.

Shouldn't there be a switched power source inside the rear view mirror mount? Just be careful running the wires along the A-pillars since there are airbags along the way. You don't want to interfere with their function.

Not so concerned about the airbag. It's usually just rolled up with plenty of space around it to feed that wire so there shouldn't be any issues. If there are, I will certainly let everyone know. lol!

I got mine last week and like it a lot. However I ran it with my V1 and the V1 picked up the radar slightly quicker.

Preordered mine on October 18. Still have not received shipping confirmation or any update. I called customer service and waited on hold for over 30 minutes just to find out that they could not give me any ETA shipping information. I was a bit frustrated with this. I feel that a company should keep there customers well informed. Especially loyal customers who has preordered. Not to mention, this is my fourth Escort.
I was patient and am currently still sticking it out as I still have not received my product. I read that a user on Rennlist also had an issue like this themselves; however, they cancelled their order.
Will keep everyone informed.

There is NO switched power in the rear view mirror area Front Facing Camera
I mounted a front facing camera and needed a power source. There was none that I saw. I used a T Tap fuse and ran it from the fuse box located under the front hood. It is adjacent to the driver’s side fire wall. It was more than easy. The fuse box is sealed to the elements under the hood and has an oversized hole where the wires enter the cabin. Large enough that you don’t need a snake to pass it through. The next challenge was the ground. Since so many parts are insulated or non-conductive, I used a self-tapping screw in one of the panels along the side wall. I then ran the cable up the front pillar which was easy. IMO - Stealth installation.

OK guys where are you mounting your Max360 since the mounting brackets are very limited, basically to the large round suction mount only. None of the other mounts work such as the visor mount and the smaller 2 suction mount. Tried mounting it high above rear view mirror and a no go as it sticks out way to far. Let's see some pics.

Would like to hear some input regarding this.
Update: Radar still has not been shipped yet. Getting very impatient with Escort.
I keep receiving emails that state "our experts do not have an accurate ETA on delivery or shipping." Well, that's not what I call an expert!

Mine arrived in a week from ordering. However, I decided not to keep it and am returning because the mounts are limited to the sticky cup on the windshield only and the primary reason I got it was for the posted speed. The posted speed only works half the time and the alerts are way too numerous and way to interactive. I going to get another V-1 instead and call it a day.
