Did you Dragy or go to the track?
I hoping to pick up a 63 wagon or sedan soon and as far as I remember (please correct me if I'm wrong) you are still running stock airboxes and stock downpipes?

Peter, you're about to talk me back into another E63... knock that off please haha. At this point, car included, it's under $50k. Some people have put that into their car on mods alone (at least in the early days) and didn't hit those numbers.

yeah let's forget cifdig ran a best of 10.53@133 on the E63s platform on a non prepped surface. So there is more to be had on a prepped surface. The majority of the players in the m157 Motors are 10.8 and better with ecu/tcu alone. Not throw in the blackboost intake and catless DP'S. 2.88 0-60 ft on the street and 60ft in the 1.60 and better.

ok.. I would still rather be at a track with no prep versus ****ty asphalt or concrete! Just to prove how transformational this platform Has become i ran a 10.88@130.88 on the street stock everything with just a EC50 tune. When the weather breaks you will see low 10's without breaking a sweat.

Someone go find the threads I started a while back where I was calling out all of these "tuner" companies for selling upgraded turbos as the only solution for going faster on this platform. I always said from day one that this car just needs some simple bolt ons and E85 and this is where we are several years later (after I no longer have my 2014 E63s ). They can justify making all this money off of turbo upgrades but won't put the effort in to get the tuning right. I bet all the guys that spent $20k on turbo upgrades are really pissed off right now...

Good callout and insight on your part as I joined late last year so I was able to benefit from the newly developed EC E50 tune. That was also a goal being considered by Brutus when the initial stages of this platform was being formed. Just look at the older dyno plots versus today's as they relied on tons of torque that would fall off immediately after it reached peak and the trap speeds versus the prior tunes. Could also be part of the evolution of the M157 like the TCU really be pushed to the forefront with loads of information to support and to quantify its ROI and parameters. Thx for the feedback.
