AMS Cooling setup

We ordered this for a local member. Quality is top notch.
Kit includes OEM cooling divorce kit and distronic bracket.
I should have pics of the install process also in a few days.

Have the AMS heat exhanger installed in my car, it definitely cools the car down nicely during the hot summer days.

Awesome, I cannot wait for to get her back!!!

Also does anyone know the part numbers for the intercooler pumps in 2012 vs 2014?

EDIT: So there IS a difference between the 2012 and 2014 (especially the S models) intercooling. The pumps are different is why AMS cooling requires a secondary pump. Also the newer cars come with a auxiliary heat exchanger that the RWD cars do NOT come with. Not to mention there is the split/divorce part of this too.

The AMS kit rectifies all that and adds more efficient primary HE as well as a reservoir to best the newer cars

I believe the secondary heat exchanger comes with the 2012 performance package.

Which pump is used on the 2014?

So AMS full cooling kit has been installed. I gained almost 3 additional gallons of coolant. The car now has two heat exchangers and a large reservoir. Trick system that allows you to bleed the it with a touch of a button.
I will start data logging either this weekend or next week for iats

Hmm, there was a year that the additional heat exchanger came with some option, and the exchanger was not on the base E63.

I had AMS put their cooler on my car when it was there for the ECU tune. I figured it was insurance and I get no fad after multiple hard runs.

I am interested to see how well that system stacks-up against what the manufacturer shows on their website for IAT's. I am taking my E63 to Circuit of the Americas in a week and a half for a track day and I want to put it through its paces to see if I get any reduced performance.

Is data logging difficult?

Thanks and good luck with that systems, looks killer.

Datalogging is easy and cheap. I have the PLX Kiwi2 from an old car I just plug into my OBDII port and use Dashcommand to datalog just IAT, RPM and Boost levels

I have a 2014 E63, and I was wondering if all 2014+ models come with the split divorced cooling stock. Because I notice that from the front I can only see one HE inlet visible while the other side is covered up. Or is it that only the S models come with the divorced cooling?

Remove your engine cover and you will see the reservoir for the split system.
