Worth it?

Sound, yes. Power?...........don't think so. But I will wager it improves throttle response (like this car even needs it)

AMG GT S & E63 S AMG
I have driven the car with the AMS downpipes for about 100 miles now and so far, I would say they are worth it. At under 2000 rpm, they sound about the same as stock but gives an aggressive rumble when you roll on the accelerator, especially when accelerating from 40/50 mph on the highway. Throttle response is also improved, and power is yet to be determined via dyno. However, I will say that my butt dyno feels that the torque delivery is slightly more forceful between 2000-3500 rpm. I will know more about the power by mid February once I go back to AMS for a dyno retune.
