Has anyone else got these stupid plastic blockers in their intake path? I've looked at photos of other M278 engines and don't see these things. Why would they put them on the CLS?

Group buy for all you interested folks including myself! I was going to wait until black friday for a sale and to familiarize myself with this engine (M157) before any performance mod, but these helped my s55 breathe much better on top of pulley/tune mods.

McMaster-Carr has finally started selling M6 standoffs and you can use them to raise the ECU. You need two each of these:
Male-Female Threaded Hex Standoff - 18-8 Stainless Steel, 13 mm Hex Size, 12 mm Long, M6 x 1.00 mm Thread Size - 93655A253
Male-Female Threaded Hex Standoff - 18-8 Stainless Steel, 13 mm Hex Size, 25 mm Long, M6 x 1.00 mm Thread Size - 93655A257
The 12s go in the front, the 25s in the back.
