Who has had great realiability for 3+ years?
People speak up when things go wrong, but I'm sure there must be folks out there who are enjoying their e63s with no issues whatsoever. Let us know if you have had the vehicle for several years and had great reliability with minimal time/cost for repairs.
Thanks

1 1/2 year, 23,000 km with lots of fun on the roadcourse and at the 1/4 mile Track....no mechanical issues at all.
Once I hit a large pothole wich damaged 2 tires and one rim on the driver's side....repaired at no cost under the Wheel & tire warranty i had taken.

1 year. Both headlights replace under warranty due to the V mark on the inner lens.
I am very happy with my AMG collection.

What I would like to know is the lifespan of the turbos on the M157 since the car now automatically keep the fan running even after engine is shut off.

My fans seem to come on every time, but I think it's normal for this car. Its the aux fan, which cools down the turbos after the hard drive. It keeps circulating the oil through turbos after the engine is shut off. In another words its a more innovated turbotimer

Exactly... On the older cars it was just an unwritten rule that you should let the car idle a few minutes after hard driving for the sake of the turbos. Mercedes doesn't want to bother their owners with that kind of inconvenience so they engineered a solution around it. I still never drive the car hard when I know I'm about to shut it off soon, but good to know there's another safe check behind me.

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
My headlights both have V's and the local dealer would not do anything about it, I'll try another, but thats about the only issue with the car. When did they start that with the fans coming on after driving? My fans always shut off when I turn off the car but I always let the car idle for a few minutes while I'm getting my wheelchair out and all so the turbos can spin down and cool down a little after a drive. They must have made this change with the fans in 2014 with the model upgrade when it went AWD? Mines a 2012 RWD.

Mine has been electrical - same two speakers burning out, electrical stink and all.
Mbrace needed a reset.
Several external panels or trim needed to be reset or clipped back to spec. I had to fight a little to get this done as Mercedes states it would take a massive hit to loosen these panels. I've never had such a hit, so that was a little worrying.
Engine and drive train have been great.
