15 S63, 18 Ram 2500 Cummins
2013 Audi S6 or 2012/13 E63?

Who else couldn't decide between the two cars? The S6 is still the current body style,more modern, way more technology and awesome textured recaro seats plus awd. Mercedes will always be faster and always more reliable. Thoughts?

neck to neck ? lol I had both , but not 2013 , benz is more fun . S6 is good boring car . and it can be fast

They're both low 12second cars stock. I see you ran a 11.04 , what did I take performance wise to get there? Apr tune, down pipes....

The current Audi S6 with 4L TT V8 is an enigma.

For starters, it's an S and not a big dog RS model. As noted in this article and others, the S6 is better matched to compete against mid-tier super sedans. Since we don't get a RS6 in the States, I think the S6 gets pulled into match-up's it has no business competing in.

I like the idea of the S6 - just as I do with my E550 - with its awd and strong performance to value quotient. The S6's int looks outstanding to me especially with the diamond stitched seats (but you lose ventilation and massage when you pick them over the optional Comfort seats that look boring). In comparison to my E, I figure / hope the S6 is more sporting without going too far. However, it's difficult to find automotive writers that have fallen in love with it.

Here it gets 3rd place versus a Lexus GS-F and CTS V-Sport. Go figure.

Looks like swapping turbos on the S6 is a lot easier than swapping turbos on the Benz since the turbos are on top of the engine. So tune and downpipe= mid 11s and bigger turbos =11flat? The 2014 E63 upped there game for sure with the navi system and cameras, his hard to beat S6 google maps and all the technology especially over the 2013 e63 plus those s6 seats look awesome... when you say boring, you mean just nothing special?

high 10s , I did 11.0 on 4500 ft elevation on pump gas , take it to the sea lvl with race gas you'll see 10.7 . but expensive , st3 will run u well over 10k . boring I mean boring , it handles great , but you know what would happen next , it's like driving regular car , nothing will tell you u driving a sport car . not sure what I would do if I had that same choice . I don't like E63 rwd .

I had a '14 S6 before I got my '14 E63S. As much as I loved the S6, I'm having a ton more fun with the E63S.

I put a Milltek exhaust (Sport) and AWE Tuning S-FLO intake on my S6. It put 401awhp/420awtq to the ground. It was pretty quick!

By comparison, I put my stock E63S on the same dyno and it laid down 534awhp/561awtq. Night and day. I understand you're comparing the '12 E63 to a '13 S6, but I imagine the difference is still going to be significant from the numbers I've seen.

I did like the S6 interior far more, though. Mine was tricked out--Bang & Olufsen stereo (with the cool pop-up tweeters), contrasting diamond stitched seats, Alcantara headliner, etc.

what I dont get it, 1/4 mile and performance wise, the S6 is only slightly slower than E63, yet over 100hp less on the S6, from reading articles, it keeps saying the Audi is very underrated. I mean the stock E63 is 12.1 in 1/4 while the S6 is like 12.2=12.4. Tune and DP E63= High 10s. Tune and DP on S6 and its low 11s. So performance wise, the E63 isnt that much faster

yes , 60 ft in the s6 is 1.65 all day , this is why the times looks good , but speed trap is lower then E63

Ah.... Interesting. I guess in Eco the e63S isn't bad ... Plus I have the sprint booster which really wakes up Eco and makes it like a notch between comfort and S mode
