front tire wear, right more than left

My wife's 2016 E63 Estate is showing some strange tire wear up front and the dealer insists it is a result of how she is driving the car. I'm finding that hard to believe.

The car has 7k miles on it and the right front tire is showing more wear than the left front, to the point that it is down to the wear bars. The left front shows about 3/32" more tread than the right. The tread wear on both tires is dead flat and the tires are right on the factory recommended pressure.

The dealer checked the alignment and suspension components, according to the report they gave me, and after having the car for a week declared it was driver fault. I don't know what she is doing all day long but I'm reasonably confident she is not hitting a NASCAR oval track for laps.

Suggestions or ideas on where to look next?

What exactly are they saying that she is doing wrong?

they left it at "it's the way the car is being driven". I'm heading over there today to get some clarity on that statement.

typically common causes ofone tire wearing more than the other side would be different tire inflations , misalignment/ camber , suspension components of one side damaged....

or nascar

Indeed strange. Take to another dealer and make sure they check the toe.

Toe in/out was my thought as well, camber or suspension would result in the tire wearing excessively on one side and this wear looks completely normal, just excessive. On my track car small changes in toe can literally shred a tire.

I need to get the alignment report from the dealer, nothing was in what they gave her other than "checked alignment". At any rate, I'm not a big fan of the Pirelli P-Zero tires, grippy yes but tread wear for normal street driving is terrible, even absent of a problem with the car.

if it's not alignment then it could very well be the style of driving - much like walking, some people don't equally put weight down on each foot causing wear and tear - it maybe the same for the driving style
