E63 S Wagon Lowered on HRE 305 Classics
Wheel size is 20x9 (I think) in front 20x10.5 rear (I don't recall offsets) and tires are 255/30/20 front 295/25/20 rear. Lowered with H&R springs up front and links in the rear that I picked up from another member here. Zero rubbing.

Honestly, at the lowest setting, it rides like $#it. Not sure if I need to readjust the links.
In Sport or Sport+ it rides worse than my '63 Impala lowrider with no shocks. At least my lowrider is somewhat soft, though bouncy. Wagon is stiff AND bouncy. I drive it in Comfort mode where it raises the back about 1" (like the second pic) and rides much better, I'd say comparable to Sport with stock suspension. No biggie since I never drove in Sport or Sport+ when it was stock. The compromise is worth it to me. Here's how it looks when I'm dippin' down the street:

It usually takes some miles for the new springs to break in. You say at the lowest setting it rides like $#it, is that the setting its at in the pictures you posted? I have the Renntech lowering kit sitting in my garage for over 6 months because i'm so concerned about screwing up the ride quality.

Is the H&R in the front and links in the rear generally considered the best way to do this? I'd love to lower me '15 E63s but with 4k miles on it i really don't want to see any codes on the dash. I appreciate the info in advance!

Thanks for the props, folks. It definitely ticked off the "slammed AMG Wagon on dope rims" box on the bucket list. I'm dating myself, but it's been on there since I was a kid and saw an original AMG Hammer Wagon.
My car is at the lowest setting in the first pic. It automatically adjusts down when at rest. It looks great tucking the tires when parked, but I wouldn't drive around town sitting that low as there's not enough air in the bags to give it any comfort. The second and third pics show it closer to true ride height in Comfort mode.
I also sat on the lowering setup for awhile before I pulled the trigger. No regrets, but if you aren't willing to make some compromises, lowering might not be for you. It's definitely a personal preference. My kids didn't really notice, but some people are very sensitive to ride quality. I'd suggest finding someone with a lowered car to compare to, if you can, before pulling the trigger.

Please send me some more photos as you take them. Would love to feature it on our website and HRE's.
