I know this may be a long shot, but I am curious if the center console trim surrounding the shifter, ashtray cover, ac surround, and side pieces are identical from the 2010 E63 to the 2014 E63. I am looking to swap my aluminum / wood center console in my '10 to a full piano black console from a '14. Was wondering if anyone has had their hands on both models to confirm. From the exterior they seem identical in fitment.

Thanks in advance for any and all input. I will most likely make a DIY for this if it does indeed fit, but was hoping for confirmation before making the purchase!

Update. Got the 2014 trim in the car, and it swapped over just fine. The ashtray trim actually comes apart from the ashtray housing, but the shift surround is the actual painted / finished piece, so that is one piece.

I will have the side console pieces and AC surround next week, and will post my findings on the fitment of those too. Should be fine though!

Hopefully this is good reference for anyone looking to swap their console trim in the future.

I'm planning to replace my pre-facelifted faded wood trims. Does anybody know If the facelift (14-16) trims will fit on pre-facelift (10-12) models?
