Front plate bracket?

What are some options for mounting front plate without drilling holes into bumper?

I've seen some that attach to the front tow hook mount.

+1 that's pretty much the primary way I've seen people do it. I keep mine in the trunk and attach via suction cups inside my from window when I have to park on the street. That's legal in CA when parked if it's mounted less than 5 feet high and visible from the front. I've also seen a mount that attaches to the passenger sun visor so it flips down to be visible.

The tow hook mount is the only other option that I have seen.

And looks terrible

Quite frankly the best looking external option is the drilled oem bracket ...

FF. W212 E63 M156 non-pano 18" P2 ParkT NightV (gone but will be missed).
One option I like is having a print shop photograph your plate and print it onto a vinyl-like sheet with non-permanent adhesive backing. That way, you can apply it on the bumper and peel off whenever you feel like it.

This is not a suggestive post, purely an inquisitive one...for those of you who live in states where the front plate is required, is this a requirement police officers pay attention to?

In my experience it depends where you are and what you are doing. If you are in the city area or downtown you can most likely get a ticket being parked (meter enforcers). I have never been pulled over for no front plate, but If I am pulled over for speeding about 50/50 chance of also getting front plate ticket.

Where I live (outside of the city) I have never received a no front plate ticket either being parked or pulled over for something else.

Drove my 2000 E55 with no plate in the Cali Bay Area for 15 years and never got a front plate ticket. Not even when pulled over for speed as I may have been a few times.

Now been driving the 2011 E63 for a year and a half with no plate or bracket in same areas. No tickets for front plate.

Of course now that I shot my mouth off, I will likely end up getting one! lol

I had sign-writer make a sticker replica of my plate.
Need to fix the holes in the bumper though.
