at the track I go to the reaction time is subtracted from the total time. I imagine it would be the same for any NHRA track.

No, reaction time is NOT subtracted from elapsed time...and shouldn't be at any track. R/T is the time it takes for you to start the clock after the green light comes on but the clock doesn't start measuring E/T until you actually start moving.

My understanding is that car mag testers use a one foot roll out before the 0-60 or 1/4 mile clock starts
what's the point of that??

Track night this evening.....so close to 10 second car. Ran many passes at a pretty consistent 11.0x ET with mid to high 120s for trap speed.
Last time at the track I used race start each time. This evening I brake torqued to 3k rpms and launched...consistent 1.6x 60ft....great.
Have a new problem. Getting much too wheelspin after second gear shift.
Ran the car with half tank of 93 octane with 12 oz of methanol added. Next time will run on 93 octane only for a few passes, just for S&Gs.
Getting closer....

Da was 1800. Was actually a great night. Storm was supposed to pass through, but missed us, so the air was cooler. Breezy 81 degrees.

Good to meet you as well bro! Yeah man...I took one car seat out for last night's runs. Next week I'll take the other one out. Gotta make this as dramatic as possible. Hah

Turned on the Vbox for fun today...0-60 results below. Did a few quick pulls on the street. Tried in 'sport' and 'traction control off' modes...both resulted in spinning tires. This is probably the best I'll do on the street with these tires.
3.25s
Used to see consistent 3.5-3.7s, so this is an improvement.
Still blows my mind that these cars (the E63 and it's competition) can do this.
Will use the Vbox on a prepped track next time I go. Should be a little better.

Ordered RacingBrake front rotors and pads; should have them installed in next week or so. Will provide some pics/review and such.
Also having the Revozport rear diffuser being made now. Also to be installed in next few weeks.

Thanks man! Havin some fun
Thanks! Upd intake spacers with BMC filters, catless downpipes (not turbo back), tune, and running boost juice in wm injection system. Tonight ran some Sunoco gt260plus with 93 octane. Also lowered front tire pressure a bit more. Both may have helped.
