for an item such as UPD.... I wouldnt 100% rely on a dyno result.
Theoretically speaking you would get some gains out of it while going 60mph+ and the air at that speed getting sucked in at top end compared to a Fan.
I'm still happy to buy this product once my cars back on the road from shardul to test it myself on the N/A motor regardless of 1 persons experience on a dyno.

I think an NA car will have much lower dyno numbers but much more improvement on the freeway.
A turbo huffing 18-19psi, on the other hand, should be a lot closer on the dyno. That being said, I made quite a lot of peak power and a crap load of torque all at the wheels on a dyno

I had BMC air filters on my CL65. The heat from the engine warped the lip on the filter and actually melted it to the point where when I took it out, it ripped apart. Not what you would expect from a premium brand.

i stayed away from bmc for that exact reason after saw a few other forum members with similar problems with BMC's and one that even fell apart and got sucked into the engine . also some people had hesitation problems after install so i decided it wasnt worth it for a few hp's

Thanks for sharing your findings. This adds to the info to be considered. I have a set and plan on conducting before/after dyno runs in the spring.

Thanks for including that last part. UPD are straight-up guys, and- like a lot of other shops- are doing what they can to advance the state of the art. Great stuff!
