Who has moved from a 2012-2013 E63 to a 2016+ RS7

Ok gents I am thinking about trading in or selling my immaculate slightly modified E63 wagon for a 2016 or 2017 RS7 sedan in sepang blue with the carbon optics, driver assist, sport exhaust package. A couple of things I am torn about between the Merc and Audi are (I know this is a Merc board)

Audi PRO's
FAST out of the box and will be faster with a APR tune
Sexy as hell on the inside and out
All wheel drive
Love the Sepang Blue color

Audi CON's
It's FAST but uneventful....the Merc is more exciting to drive
Small in the back (have 2 kids - one in a booster the other in a child seat)
No rear entertainment
Not as unique as the E63 wagon

Merc PRO's
Unique - have a Matte grey wrap on it / blacked out
Love the sound of the engine
Modded just where I like it in looks and power
Its fun to drive and I like kicking out the tail end
Can carry the kids in a pitch (we have another Merc E500 4 matic wagon and a heavily modified Yukon Denali XL which is our family vehicle)

Merc CON's
Not as FAST as the Audi
Not All wheel Drive
Not as sexy as the Audi (interior and exterior)

So let me know your thoughts especially those people that have moved from a E63 to the RS7......

I also thought of keeping the E63 and getting a used 2014 RS7 but that won't work as I don't need two daily drivers.

Thanks for the help!

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
I'd just stick with what you got, the trade in on your merc is gonna be pretty bad so you will have to put down a ton of money for the Audi. The merc is just as fun to drive and has much more storage capacity especially being a wagon. I'm keeping my Wagon until the 2018 E63 amg wagon is out which looks to be about a year from now or so.

E63
While I have no interest in a wagon, I am a lil torn between the 2016 RS7 & E63 myself.....

Why not Tune the e63 to get more power and enjoy it some more?

Already have the mhb catted down pipes and Renntech tune....it's fast and feels fast but not at the level of that all Wheel Drive monster....as the car has trouble being a rear wheel drive putting that power down to the pavement

Drives Slowly
First off, my advice would be to keep your E63 Wagon. They are great looking and preforming cars and they're far and few between.

I have a 2013 CLS63 and a 2016 RS7. The CLS has the Switzer P700 package and the RS7 is pretty much stock other than upgraded tires. I use both for daily driving. Overall the RS7 is superior to the CLS63. The RS7 actually feels like it's worth its price. The Audi's DRC suspension is far better and the 8-speed transmission is lightning quick and never jerky or confused like the Mercedes MCT speed-shift. Also, the RS7 doesn't rattle like a bad set of dentures or become unsettled like the Merc when its chassis is upset by imperfect roads.......it always feels planted. Honestly, I find myself preferring to drive the Audi in almost all situations.

The interior of the RS7 is a beautiful and ergonomically perfect place to be. The quality of materials and fit and finish are excellent and the MMI system is a notch above what Mercedes offers.

The Mercedes does have some redeeming qualities including its sleek appearance, monster engine and that exhaust note. Aesthetically, the CLS is a visual stunner especially with coil-overs and carbon fiber accents but I actually get more compliments when I'm in the RS7.......go figure.

One other advantage that the RS7 has over the CLS/E AMG is resale. Most Mercedes AMGs drop in value so incredibly fast it's pitiful.

Great feedback guys....still torn with the decision at this point. Regarding resale of the wagon - I knew I would be losing my *** considering its a AMG and the mods I put in there. It is what it is as I will still continue to get a high end performance sedan.

Any know issues with the newer Audi's as I have never owned a Audi only BMW's and Merc's.
