New To Me 2012 E63
Hello all,
Wanted to introduce myself, just purchased my first Merc after being a long time BMW fan (2000 e39 m5) it's a 2012 E63 with 51k miles on the clock.
Spent a lot of time deciding between this and a e60 m5 and I just felt this car would be more reliable in the long run (purchased and extended warranty) my question to you all would be, who do you recommend for a tune between renntech and wiestec? Also, anything I should watch out for?

Both companies are great, so no problem there. I would also like to throw our hat in the ring too!
What also stands us apart from the competition is the fact that we offer a motor protection warranty that covers the car in case something happens due to our tuning! It's a good piece of mind for sure! We also have locations throughout the world and are know for our customer service both pre and post sales.
If you have any question please let us know!

First congrats on the car! It's gotta be a heck of a difference coming from the E60.

Congrats, I also came from a long line of N/A M cars, 2 E46 M3, E92 M3, E60 M5.
Purchased my 2012 E63 AMG May this year, after speed driven down pipes and a tune this car is just insane when you want it to be, as well as being so much more reliable than my E60.

Hey congratulations on the car! I'm running a eurocharge tune and am happy with it. If I lived in United States I may have gone with Renntech and that's just because it will not void warranty with some dealers. Also having a 2012 I would recommend upgrading the cooling system as the 2012's are inferior in that regard.
Enjoy!

I've heard about the cooling system? Is there a kit that improves it?

That's good to know, if you don't mind me asking, how many miles do you have on your e63?
Also, did you ever dyno the car? What tune and downpipes?

yes there are several available from different companies, it all depends on how far you want to go with the car. I haven't upgraded mine yet but when I do it will be at minimum the same type of system that's in the e63s models.

It's going to be my daily, so I'm looking to just do a tune and maybe downpipes nothing else.
I'd be interested in improving cooling however.

70k miles, it's my DD and I travel a lot with it cause it's so comfortable and fun, yet also not bad mpg.
Speed driven tune and down pipes, if I'm not mistaken 632rwhp and 711rwtq with race fuel mixed in. Going to have it dyno again soon with some air box mods.
The car ran a 11.5 @124mph and my 60ft was a horrible 1.9 so there is much left in it. Also that was my first time at the track with it the same month I bought it.

Good to know, has it been reliable?
I'm forsure going to get a tune and DPs the first chance I get.
