Wagon Offset Question (yes another one) - range of acceptable fitments
Hi guys,
I just searched through a ton of threads on this, but instead of a "yo do my 335 wide 22's fit?" I wanted to get a range of fitments from some experts so I know how to shop the daunting used market
Stock sizes for 2014 E63 Wagon:
Front wheel offset 37 mm
Rear wheel offset 52 mm
Bolt pattern: 5x112
front 255/35 ZR 19 XL
rear 285/30 ZR 19 XL
-------
"Ideal" Size for 19's according to someone smarter than me. i.e- what you would buy if you had them made for you.
19x9 et 30 255/35/19
19x10.5 et 46 295/30/19
Is this valid?
-----------
Range of acceptable offsets that would work for the stock tire sizes? (This is my real question)
19x9 - 255/35 - Offset?
19x9.5 - 285/30 - Offset?
I've seen some people say you can do low 40's on the fronts, but I've seen nothing definitive. Is this voodoo math? Why nothing concrete.

I am running 295/30 rear and 265/35 front and like the way they look/fit on the OEM rims.
I wont get into rubbing and all that cause i have a '12 wagon so my fittment comments likely wont apply to a '14.

You should make sure the difference in height from the rear wheel isn't too far off from the fronts, or else your 4matic is going to complain (i'm assuming your e wagon is 4matic).
