That car is sexy. I just hate the headlights.
It's RWD - which is a hard fact for me to look over considering that I got stuck getting out of my driveway yesterday *face palm*

Besides the lack of led headlights which, apparently, seem to count more than a carbonfibre transmission and Ferrari-inspired engine&mechanics...this is a true Alfa Romeo, trust me you won't be dissapointed!
In addiction to that they offer the stick option...it would be a no brainer for me if I'd be looking for a superfast sedan.

It's a fast and expensive Fiat. Alfas are driven by a-holes, at least in Europe, not sure why. Mostly used Alfas. Maybe these people think they just instantly became alpha-males.
If you buy a new Alfa, the depreciation will hit you like a freight train.
If you buy a used Alfa, it won't be reliable and generally hard to service (lack of parts or expensive).
New Alfas are for weird rich people.
Used Alfas are for people who cannot afford a used BMW.
Alfa owners are similar to Tesla fanboys in constantly bragging of how it's the best car in the world.
Quadriplegio is a nice try though..

In Canada it'll be rare and used? didn't this just come out this year?
Also, I might steer away because it's of RWD only option

So many reviews just love it- I don't get it. Not much or anything negative to say about the car.
Btw the obvious- how's the aftermarket on this Brand? 2.9L must be tuned like a **** -but wondering are they as restrictive as AMG ?

I would get an f80 M3 or C63S ANYDAY over that.
And those headlights and front grill makes it look like a pissed off (ugly) owl.

It's funny the Giulia QV got brought up while I was looking into it in the past 2 days. It's obvious most of us here are MB fans. However, it's undeniable this Giulia QV is quite a potent alternative.
Well, standard CF roof and hood and CF propeller shaft. Well designed stylish interior without the cheap looking tacked on tablet screen like the new C63. An engine with the same bore and stroke as Cali T and is pretty much the same engine that powers the 488 and Cali T sans 2 cylinders. Best adult passenger rating % score ever for the Euro NCAP (this one is quite a shocker to me). Main man in the team is Krief, a chassis engineer for the 458 Speciale, and who has gone back to Maranello after the work.
Overall, the Giulia QV is an amazing vehicle put together in just 2.5 years (this short time is quite worrisome given Alfa's history of poor reliability). While interior quality is not up to par with similar German offerings, it's more than compensated by its emotional ride and handling. As mentioned in the video, it's probably the only 4-door Ferrari in this price range you will ever see. It's too bad there is the history of questionable Alfa reliability that we will not know until a year or two.

I thought they were just throwing out that stuff -for fun -didn't know it actually shared similarities with Ferrari lol albeit small ones. Originally Posted by otakki

Based on all this, aftermarket (mods)support should be huge.
I've never been a brand loyalist although I've stuck with same brands for a long time because based on my usage of that particular item gave me best value in that certain brand. For example AMG and in phone Note series but now it's changing due to the fact that some other companies are doing so at such a lower price variety and longer warranty.
But once again, for me it would really have to be something to over look only RWD option.

The headlights are ugly, has nothing to do with being LED or not..
Also it's an Alfa, so you're much better off leasing instead of buying if you keep your cars for a while. 4 door Ferrari, aside from the headlights It looks awesome.

I just don't like the front end. Doesn't do it for me which is a matter of taste. The rear end on the other hand is something I can get on board with. The numbers a quite appealing, but there's other/better stuff out there.

It is a SWEET car I tested it and I would buy it anytime over a C63s, the C4 is also a sweet car too.

So just read up AWD is already announced but it'll be a non performance version. It'll be 2.2 L turbo but less than 300 hp.Originally Posted by Fairbird

It's pretty obvious to find skeptics in this forum,I know all the jokes behind Fix It Again Tony etc.
but trust me this sedan is insane: try one on a racetrack and it will blow you away!
In this moment Alfa released only two awd models: the 2.2 diesel engine with 210bhp and the Veloce 2.0 petrol engine with 280bhp; in the US market they'll offer a even more powerful 4 cyl. petrol engine around 350bhp.
The Quadrifoglio is and will be only rearwheeldrive.

Alfa Romeo cars are notoriously unreliable!
For 100K I would go for slightly used C63 BS

some food for thought.
To all those who claim Alfa's are unreliable.
How many have you owned and for how long?
How long you keep your cars?
What you rather have, a McDonald's cheeseburger or foie gras? A Budweiser light or Trappistes?
No need to answer, you keep the C63 and I will gladly keep the GQ, 8C or a 4C.

While living in the middle east I used to own 4 year old 1988 Alfasud Sprint - bough it because it was cheap and looked cool at that time.
I also owned 3.0 164 - got it as a payment, but that's another story

I am not trying to convince you of buying an Alfa, to the contrary
I wish they were a $40K so less people would buy them...
